Our Family's Journey Through Time

Marylebone, London, England

Notes:
In 1860, Marylebone Road was undergoing massive transformation, characterized by the "cut and cover" construction of the Metropolitan Railway, which was built underneath the road to connect Paddington to the City. Formerly known as the "New Road," this thoroughfare was formally renamed and established as a major artery in 1857, with the surrounding area experiencing rapid, intense development.
