  North Wilts Herald November 12th 1937 The late Mrs H O Berrett On Saturday the death occured in London (at the home of her daughter] of Mrs H O Berrett. She was the wife of ex Sergeant H O Berrett, who at one time resided in the village, and was the eldest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs George Lovelock. Born at Wootton Rivers, Mrs Berrett had reached the age of 65 years. The funeral was on Wednesday at the Parish Church, and was of a private nature. A simple service was conducted by the Rector. The mourners were Mr H O Berrett (husband). Mr G Berrett (son), Mrs Corps (daughter]. Mrs Claude Barcham (daughter], Mr W O Lovelock (brother]. Mr Frank Lovelock (brother), Mr A J Lovelock (brother), Mrs A Berrett (niece], Mr Eric Lovelock (nephew], Mrs willmot (cousin], Mrs Whitlock (cousin], Mr Shepherd (friend], Mr Corpe (son in law), Mr C Barcham (son in law), Mrs James Lovelock, Mrs F Lovelock, Mrs W O Lovelock. Mrs A J Lovelock (sisters in law), Mrs George Berrett (daughter in law). Mrs Ward and Mrs Waters (friends). Mrs F Alford (neighbour). Her only sister (Mrs A Cooper of Wokingham) and one brother (Mr James Lovelock) were unable to attend through illness. The bearers were Messrs Gough, Teagle, Wort and Ralph.
