  The Ipswich Journal 18th March 1882 "A NONAGENERIAN - On Sunday the 26th ult., there died in this parish Susan Scott, aged 90, leaving 83 descendants - three children, 32 grandchildren, and 48 great grandchildren. She died in the same cottage in which she was born, and which had been occupied by herself and mother's family for 160 years. For the 50 years previous to 1870, Mrs Scott was village schoolmistress at Flowton."
